You Can Do It In Just 7 Minutes
If you’re like a lot of well-intended folks, you’d like to have a regular yoga practice (dare I say, you’d do yoga every darn day?).
When I signed up for yoga teacher training in 2017, I agreed to do at least seven minutes of yoga a day for the length of our training- 9 months! I honored this commitment to my yoga teacher and to myself, in fact, I still practice yoga for at least seven minutes a day, everyday.
It doesn’t have to be hard, though it may be. It might take a lot of mental mojo for you to break through whatever is blocking you from doing your yoga everyday BUT where there’s a will there’s a way. You have so much to gain from committing to yourself and doing yoga everyday. Profound awareness will come from your practice as will BIG epiphanies. You may come to know yourself in a whole new way.
I’ve created a series of one minute yoga videos that you can use to jump start your daily yoga practice. They go over breathing and the three directions to move your spine that are great to include in your asana practice. The last video is a seven minute video. I made this one to support you doing your yoga in your own way. My intention for this video is to use it as a timer, as a way to hold space for your yoga practice.
